2019 Kayaking Dry Land Basics - Columbia, MO

Have you always wanted to learn how to kayak but didn't know where to start? The experts at Alpine Shop are here to help!

Kayaks continue to explode in popularity throughout the Midwest and for good reason: they’re great fun and good exercise! But without knowing the basics, it can be a pretty intimidating activity to jump in to without any help.

An Alpine Shop Instructor will help take care of that at this dry land clinic. We’ll go over all the basics: where to go, the equipment you’ll need, the different styles of kayaks, and tell you about all the local kayak groups.

Each class lasts for approximately 90 minutes. Registration is $10.
