2018 RESULTS - CLICK HERE
Come join in the fun and spend some time with fellow paddlers!
Are you ready for a whole 'nother type of adventure?
Join us for 26 miles of fluid raceway for the 2nd year of the Meramec Marathon Paddle Race. You'll have your strength and stamina put to the test as you take on the meandering Meramec River as it winds from the Robertsville, MO Landing ramp, all the way to the Eureka, MO.
Or, choose the 1/2 Marathon Route option which will be 13.9 miles. Starting on the Big River and ending on the Meramec.
Either way, you'll experience the under-appreciated beauty of this section of our Meramec River. You’ll pass huge bluffs and see lots of wildlife on your way into south-west St. Louis county as you complete Alpine Shop's second year's full river paddle race.
Of course, it's an Alpine Shop Off-Road Racing League event, so we'll have plenty of food, drinks (both alcoholic and unleaded) along with plenty of swag door prizes to give out to as many participants as we can.
Event Requirements: Kayaks, Canoes, and SUP's are welcome to race!
- A Kayak, SUP, or Canoe is required to participate in this race.
- Update: We are allowing Stand Up Paddle Boards to do the Marathon route this year. This was an over site from last year's registration. We didn't want to allow it on the first year to make sure we had everything ready.
- You will provide your own equipment. Equipment will not be provided by the Alpine Shop
- ALL racers are required to wear a Coast Guard Approved PFD (Personal Floatation Device) zipped up at ALL times during the race, or you will be disqualified.
- No alcohol allowed in your boat, or on you while racing (If you are caught with alcohol you will be disqualified)
- Participants 16-years-old and under need to be accompanied by an adult
