Check-in begins at 5:00 pm each Thursday evening at the start/finish line. For all racers who have registered by Monday, July 29, your race items will be available at our Race Packet Pick Up on Wednesday, July 31st from 11 am–8 pm at Alpine Shop Kirkwood.

Weather-Related Cancellations / Emergencies

Unless the Castlewood State Park managers declare trails unusable, every race will proceed rain or shine. Severe weather may cause us to alter start times and/or courses. No refunds will be issued for any race that is delayed, changed or canceled.

RACE RELEASE OF LIABILITY. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING. THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND WAIVER OF CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS.

I realize the Off Road Racing League Trail Run, hereinafter “The Run”, requires physical conditioning, and I represent that I am in sound medical condition. I have no physical or medical condition that would endanger either myself or others.

I agree to abide by all the rules of The Run.

I understand that trail running can be a HAZARDOUS activity that has many dangers and risks, including injury or death resulting from accident or physical exertion. I understand that trail running involves a risk of injury, and that injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence of the sport. I agree, as a consideration of, and in consideration for, being permitted to participate in The Run, to freely and expressly assume and accept any and all risks of injury or death to the runner, or property loss or damage, including injury, death, loss, or damage attributable to negligence of the Alpine Shop (sponsor).

I agree to release the sponsors and promoters of the The Run, including Alpine Shop (sponsor), and other sponsors or affiliated organizations, and their respective agents, directors, officers and employees from any and all responsibility or liability for injuries or damages which result, either directly or otherwise, from my participation in The Run. I agree not to make a claim against or sue the Alpine Shop (sponsor), or other sponsors of affiliated organizations for injuries or damages related to running and/or other activities during The Run.

I agree that images of my participation in The Run and related activities may be used in any way by Alpine Shop in online, print, and broadcast media.

I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between the Alpine Shop(sponsor) and me. I am signing it freely and of my own accord and I recognize and agree that it is binding upon myself, my heirs and assigns, and in the event I am signing it on behalf of any minors, I have full legal authority to do so, and realize the binding effect of this contract on them, as well as on myself.
